Each began as a real problem — in a university, on a security desk, at a stadium gate — and became a working prototype with a public repository.
Local Arabic academic assistant
Answers students’ Arabic questions from curated University of Bisha FAQ content, with retrieval and generation kept on a local machine.
Explainable behavioural-risk prototype
Scores access events against explainable behavioural rules and surfaces unusual activity on an operations dashboard — built entirely on synthetic data.
Crowd and gate monitoring prototype
Estimates how many people are at each stadium gate from video, flags crowding early and recommends where to move staff.
How I build
I start with the environment, not the model. The best system is the one that actually fits the place it serves.
Trust is a feature. I default to local-first thinking and data practices that respect the people behind the data.
An idea means little until it runs. I build something real, show its limits honestly, then make it sharper.
Craft compounds. The small decisions — wording, timing, spacing — are the ones people actually feel.
